“Aggressive interpretations”.

“Innovations”.

This is how The NY Times, regarded by some as the most venerable newspaper in the US, describes Stephen ’Nosferatu’ Miller’s wild bastardization of the law in pursuit of bigoted cruelty.

In this case, it’s from an article about how the Trump admin invoked the Alien Enemies Act by claiming that Venezuela had sent the Tren de Aragua gang to invade the US. All US intelligence had said no, as had the Venezuelan government, and Trump and Miller said yes anyways, and now it’s come out in the open.

Just a brief reminder- we are not at war with Venezuela. There are no declared hostilities, and they were part of the The Humanitarian Parole program, formerly known as CHNV (Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans).

There’s a hard requirement in the AEA- there must be an actual state of war to invoke it. There isn’t.

And, needless to say, ‘we think they’re gang members’ is not sufficient reason for the AEA or the renderings.

This basically means the reason they used to justify rendering over 200 Venezuelans to indefinite imprisonment in El Salvador’s CECOT death camp without any legal process, and planning thousands more, was proven false by their own intelligence.

If it seems like that kind of shit happens a lot, well, it’s because it does.

Homeland Security head Tulsi ‘Cruella’ Gabbard fired the Acting Director and Deputy of the National Intelligence Council for bringing the evidence to light.

This one brief quote, though is more than enough to demonstrate the complicity by mainstream media with the Trump regime, and how they normalize outright criminal activity.

Criminal activity that is increasing exponentially, as ‘Nosferatu’ intends on ‘deporting’-read ‘rendering’- 3000 people per day to other countries under this false allegation. And, he speaks of formally eliminating habeas corpus- the age old right to self-representation and accountability of charges laid out in the Constitution and dating back to the Magna Carta.

The Magna Carta, for crying out loud.

Let’s look, then, at the key words used and how they normalize Trump’s agenda, or in this case, Nosferatu’s. (I wanted to call him Voldemort, but JK said it was too demeaning- to Voldemort. I mean, sure, the dark wizard is deeply evil and sinister, but he’s no Stephen Miller.)

So, how did the prestigious New York Times put it?

- “spearheads immigration policy.”

That sounds all nice and official n’shit but his immigration ‘policy’ is ‘get rid of brown people’. He is personally behind the roundups, the illegal arrests and the renderings to El Salvador. (Oh, and ‘Jewish Nazi’ was an oxymoron until this POS came along.)

- “developed numerous ways to leverage existing laws”

Nobody ‘leverages’ a law. Especially in ’numerous ways’. You can use a law as leverage, but you can’t leverage the law’. This is just another euphemism for ‘breaking the law’. Every single detainment and rendering is a crime he’s being allowed to commit by virtue of this warped spin.

- “aggressive interpretations”

Yet another euphemism for breaking the law. A good example is his ‘interpretation’ that even though the SCOTUS ruled 9-0 that Abrego Garcia must be returned, Miller stated that Trump had won the case 9-0 because of the admonition in their ruling that executive branch foreign policy must be respected. He behaves as though they don’t have to bring Garcia home because Executive foreign policy takes precedent. It doesn’t.

- “to better seal the border and accelerate deportations”

Sealing the border was always a red herring. They can no more shut down the whole border than they can fill the Grand Canyon with a garden hose. But, at least, the second part is true- this is all about accelerating the renderings.

- “avoid time-consuming asylum and deportation hearings”

This is probably the most blatantly fascist statement of all of them- asylum and deportation hearings are precisely how the law is executed as the Constitution demands. It’s the mandatory method for discerning if someone needs to be charged or deported. Every person has the inalienable right to due process, and for immigrants- this is still true even if they’re undocumented. Even if they are criminals, they still need to be charged and tried.

Again, breaking the law is not an ‘innovation’. However intricate or clever, a distortion of the law to allow an illegal act is breaking the damn law. An ‘innovation’ is ostensibly something positive. Solar power, for example was an ‘innovation’ in energy. The MRI was an ‘innovation’ in medicine. Ignoring the law by twisting it into pretzel logic is not an innovation- it’s a crime.

This is just one tiny sliver, but it dramatically illustrates the diabolical warping of the law by Nosferatu Miller and Trump and the way it’s being normalized to the masses by the MSM. It would take volumes to notate all of the various instances where MSM has normalized Trump and his cronies by generously describing their actions as lawful ‘options’.

But, everything Trump and his regime says or does is at least abrasive, obnoxious, embarrassing and harmful, if not outright criminal. It’s not ‘innovation’ or ‘style’ or ‘thinking outside the box’ or any other such accolade. They are criminal acts furthering a criminal conspiracy to take over the government and replace the rule of law with fascist dictatorship.

This ‘sane washing’ and compliance is exactly the kind of thing that the MSM refused to do in the 60s and 70s, choosing to side mostly with the anti-war and anti-racist protestors- the hippies- and calling power to the carpet in the press.

Nixon, the Vietnam War and the race riots were not ‘normalized’. They were called out.

This is how we know they’re complicit now.

The MSM doesn’t join the winning side- they create it.

Ever since FDR and the New Deal, the MSM has carried the ball in holding power to accountability. Even during Reagan and Bush, this remained arguably true. It’s only since Trump that they have wavered, I mean, caved completely.

This is the only way such an obviously criminal president and party could get away with destroying the nation- and they are. (BTW, anyone know where Nosferatu Miller keeps his coffin? Oh, and, are there any Van Helsings still around? Text us.)

The NYT and the Washington Post weren’t so shy about criticizing Biden, even when it was petty and obtuse or absurd, but they have no qualms about ‘sane washing’ Trump and his cronies amidst the most petty, obtuse and absurd (and criminal) ramblings and policies ever uttered by politicians in public.

Republicans, Democrats and media outlets are all ultimately dependent on the same group- the public. We can demand they adhere to the Constitution. We can demand they follow the law and publish the truth.

We’ve done it before and we can do it again.

And, we must.
